About Fujiten Snow Resort
Fujiten Snow Resort is a ski area on the northern side of Mt. Fuji, in Narusawa Village, Yamanashi Prefecture. It is operated by Fuji Kanko Kaihatsu and sits about 90 minutes by car from central Tokyo, or 25 minutes by bus from Kawaguchiko Station. The resort is close enough for a day trip, and Mt. Fuji rises directly ahead of the slopes, with an unobstructed view.
The courses range from gentle beginner slopes to Fujiten Snow Park, which has boxes and rails for freestyle riding.

Skiing Beneath Mt. Fuji
The lift crosses the snowfield, and Mt. Fuji is directly ahead when you step off at the top. From there the run begins.
The courses are wide and mostly gentle, making it a comfortable place to ease back into skiing at the start of the season. The gentler slopes are approachable even if you are still finding your rhythm, and a fall or two tends to become part of the day when you are with people you know well.
A Hot Spring Bath in Your Own Room
Every room type at Glamping Village Fuji Kawaguchiko has its own natural hot spring bath, so there is no public bathhouse to walk to and no need to work around other guests. You can enjoy the bath whenever you like during your stay.
The villa types also have a sauna with a view of Mt. Fuji and a cold plunge bath. The doors open onto a wood deck, creating a private space for cooling off outdoors after the sauna.
In-Room Dining Around the Table

Check in, leave your bags, and pick up ski wear
The property is set in a conifer forest at an elevation of about 1,000 meters. Bags can be left at the villa, so you can head to the slopes with minimal luggage.

Mt. Fuji grows larger through the window as the roadsides turn white. The slopes appear through a gap in the trees a few minutes before you arrive. Since nobody in the group is driving, everyone gets to watch.

Four-hour lift tickets are sold at the ticket counter in the Center House. Changing rooms and coin lockers are available there as well. Mt. Fuji is right in front of the slopes from the moment you step outside.

The lift ride takes a few minutes, with the slope passing below.
Beginners and returning skiers may want to start on one of the gentler courses. The snow is soft, and the wide runs make it a reasonable place to get used to skiing again after some time away.

The water is a sodium-rich simple hot spring, soft on the skin. Each guest room has its own private hot spring bath, so there is no waiting and no set bathing hours.
Villa types also have a sauna with a view of Mt. Fuji and a cold plunge bath fed by spring water from the foot of Mt. Fuji. The doors open directly onto the wood deck for cooling off outdoors.

The villa types accommodate up to six guests, so a group can share one unit.
